Coco Puff, Co-Chinnna, Pogo Puff, Nay Nay - My favorite nickname! (don't ask me HOW I came up with that one! It was the funniest thing, all of a sudden I realized I was calling him that. It sounds so adorable and...he actually answers to it!)

Tres ~ Coco loves loves loves to go for walks many times a day!

Quatro ~ Coco can dance on his two hind legs.

Coco got groomed today! The groomer fluffed him and brushed out his coat, and also clipped it a little so it is shorter for Summer! We opted for a trim instead of a full on shave. He looks like a stud! I wish you could feel his coat...it is so soft.
Look at how dark his tail is...Hard to imagine that his ENTIRE coat was that dark Apricot when he was a puppy! Now he is all cream like a little snow Ball. :)

Our friends at RagusPug lost their 2nd puggies, Sweet Tiny Sunday night....
Tiny, after your sister ChiChi passed away, we did not expect to loose you so soon after! Our hearts ache for your mommy and daddy And family right now. You were such a sweet little pug and such a daddy's girl I have heard. We miss you a lot already and I will miss seeing your beautiful face....I know you and Chi Chi are having fun together across the bridge....but, we will miss you so much sweet girl.

My KONG Boy

Coco LOVES his Kongs!!! Notice how long his coat is getting. I brushed it out yesterday...But it is almost time for a hair cut again! I just love his coat this long though.

Ok, this is MY fault.... I had the camera on focus. (not flash)
Lesson learned - don't use "FOCUS" on a MOVING object... AKA: your dog. They, unlike things like flowers, tend to MOVE. ;-) Happy summer everyone! It was a good 90-95* today... On my walk with Coco, I was sweating the entire time. Coco and I both needed cold water after that!

Yes, we are here! Sorry it is has been so long. We are doing great and I hope everyone else is, too. I took some pictures of Coco today, in a very summer-themed photo shoot. He is so good!

He lets me take a gazillion pictures of him and he just sits there. I do have a treat (bone) in my hand while taking the photo's...Maybe that helps? ;-)

Bunnies Galore!

We have lots of Bunnies around here - They LOVE to run around in our yard and annoy little Coco! He will see them and run up against the slider (window) and jump up against it, and bark. They just FREEZE when they see/hear him and do not leave/move until he goes away from the window. The Bunnies are pretty funny!

I snapped a few pics of this bunny last night. As you can really see in that last Up-close picture....he FROOZE still and did not move!

They all have cute little white talls - "Cottontail Bunnies"
It is rather freaky though when they just stare you down!

I do like winter (I really do) but after awhile, the dark and gloomy winter days get old, and it is nice to be HOT again! Back to tank tops! Look at my baby! Coco got groomed today! This time we just had him "clipped" (no shave like the past few times) especially since it is still pretty color here. I really, really like his coat like this! He looks like he is walking on air b/c his feet are so Poofy. I wish you'all could FEEL his coat right now....SO incredibly soft.....he looks like he is fake with this haircut! His coat is so thick. You can see the thickness in these pics, too....He is so cute!

New "Blue Man"!

Look at this! It's a NEW Blue Man Squeaky toy! I never thought I'd find another one. So, I gave him his new one. BUT~He stills like the "old" one better...he's a true blue boy to hsi favorite toys! He didn't sell the old Blue Man up the river for his nice, new one. What a guy! :)
Look at how FLUFFY the other one was when we got it! He's had it since we brought him home....so it is as old as Coco! 2 years is a LONG time for a TOY, don't ya think? Even if it is now missing an arm...

I just brushed Coco out today...this is what I call a FULL Brushing ~ From the Tip of his snout (literally) to the very end of his tail. I think his coat looks Gorgeous!

This is when Coco favors his Maltese side.
I love that he is a Malte~Poo and can really go either way with his coat...after he is groomed/clipped he looks just like a Mini Poodle. But when his coat is at this point and I brush him out, he looks like a Maltese with a tint of lemon coloring to his coat!
Doesn't he look like the next ~Best in Show~ at Westminster?

Coco loves presents!
This was Coco on Christmas morning. One of his gifts (shown here in wrapping paper) was a cute litter Reindeer. He bit off one of his antlers within minutes! It proved to be a safety hazard, so I cut off the other antler. The toy looks so pathetic now!
I was so proud of him...He got his gifts out of the paper on his OWN very quickly!

Coco has many favorite things. #1 being Belly Rubs! Coco loves for me to rub his widdle little belly when we watch TV at night. That little bit of blue you see near his head...can you guess what it is?
It's Blue Man Squeaker of course! His favorite toy of ALL TIME. He loves that thing.

It looks like it will be a COLD (yeah!) weekend/Christmas here in Southern CA. (But nothing compared to Leah and Lisa's and all others in SNOWY weather I suppose!) Birthday Gifts

Here are some pictures I took of Coco on his birthday (Dec. 2nd) I put each of the 4 toys in a seperate bag and squeaked it for him to hear. He went crazy! That is what I did last year, too, and he had a great time getting the toys out. I spaced the toy-giving out throughout the day, so he focused on just one toy at a time!
In the last picture...you can see Coco in his Toy Pose! He slants forward ready to RUN to catch it! Soooo cute :-)

They say with Christmas comes cold weather...But I thought over here, being known for being, well, "SUNNY" all the time...That it wouldn't get too cold. Boy was I wrong this time!

I woke up to ICE (yes, you heard me, ICE) on our grass and fallen leaves.
This was quite shocking. (Keep in mind we do NOT get snow/ice here). Coco stepped on the grass as he does each morning to do his pee-pee, and he looked very surprised to feel this coldness on his feet. I could see in his face he was "surprised" (if that is even possible for a dog to show this emotion?)

We BOTH quickly went back inside where the heat is on...........Brrrr!

Happy Autumn (and early Thanksgiving) from Coco!
I have really noticed the stores starting to "Get in full gear" for the Holidays already. I am loving it. All of the advertisements that come in the mail are very festive and In the Spirit of the Season! Little snowmen here and there...Little X~Mas trees...They do seem to skip over Thanksgiving though!
It's like Halloween and then BAM...Christmas! That's all right though. I love Christmas and the Spirit that comes along with it!

Coco is due for a haircut. His hair is getting LONG. And while beautiful, it starts to get really "Natting" at this point. So he will be back to looking like a Posh Poodle in a few days! I won't say the exact day yet...but rather, I'll surprise you with pictures ;-)

I love this picture of Coco. His little ears are flying up in the air as he "Pounced" on the ball.
I'd roll it for him, and he'd try to be able to get his mouth around the ball. (Not an easy task when the ball is bigger than his mouth!) He finally got it, I was so proud of him ~ He made a little snag in the ball and grabbed that fabric. Smarty!

Here is a ~Sampling~ of Coco's toys. (Just a sampling because as you all know, there are a lot more for this little boy, LOL) Take note of how nice and clean they are and how plush they look. They look like the toys of a very spoiled little guy, don't they?

Now ~ Take a look at Coco's FAVORITE Toy of ALL. Take note of how dirty it looks, and how you can see where I have sewed it together. Also, take note of Coco's little nose in the picture. He couldn't part from it for me to even take a picture :-)

"Blue Man Sqeauker" is Coco's favorite toy in the world. It is the toy I got him when we first brought him home. So, it is the same age as Coco. I find it very precious/endearing that Coco loves it so much, despite how "Pathetic" it looks. Isn't that sweet? I don't dare wash it in the Washer, as I am affraid it will fall apart to the point where I can't fix it! I have sewed it back together many times, as I don't dare take Coco's "BABY" from him! And the whole time I am sewing it, he looks at me with those sweet little eyes as if to say, "Mommy, can I have my baby back now, pleeease?"

Say Hello to 20+ new additions!

Just teasing...they've been around for awhile. But I've never mentioned them here so I thought it would be a nice idea to introduce you all to The ~Goldies~
They are Goldfish that live in our outdoor pond that feed on moss and seaweed (Although I give them fish food as well) but they'd much rather eat the Pond Plants. It is amazing how BIG they have gotten.

Why do they have to taste so good?

I'm going to do a Food post here.....because I just got done snacking on a Peanut Butter Quaker Chewy bar and realized that I just might be developing an addiction. Although, I don't think it's a "Bad" addiction per say (there are worse!) and they seem to be rather healthy. They are the perfect size to fill you up just enough when I need a little "something" to eat. And I am generally not one for Granola bars...So it surprises me that I actually like (well, LOVE) them. They are so good. Has anyone else had them?

These were smaller houses (although still quite nice) but father down were the large mansions like Nic Cage's house.
The beach is awe-ing for me. I absolutely love it. Sandy~You are a lucky lady to live by it!

This picture is from a few days ago.....Coco has a bath...Since he is so white, when he lifts his leg outside to Potty, it drips down his hind legs. And by the time Sat. rolls around, he is yellow (on his legs)! He sure is skinny when the water weighs down his hair! He was just about to go into ZOOMIES-Mood when I took this picture!

THIS is Nicolas Cage's house. (Or should I say ONE of his houses) Lord knows how many he has....He lives somewhere on the beach around here on the "Celebrity Row of Houses". It is huge! Beach goers can see him eating Breakfast outside some mornings! It's a beautiful house.......I zoomed in from the shore to get this one. His yard faces the water. Breathtaking Views he must have! I Love the beach as you all know by now.

Here are my Toes with their new RINGS. I am in love with them! Got them at the Fair at the beach here. Zoom in to see them a bit clearer. The one on the left foot is Plain metal and on the right foot is Ocean Waves...

I have been wanting a new "set" of Rings since a few months back when both of mine broke off from too much wear I guess? I wear them everyday (never take them off, they are full wrap around like a Finger ring is) So it was hard to not have them for the past few months! The fair opened back up a few weeks ago...So I was there to get new ones! It's the only place around here that as the full ones like this.

At *Target* they have the open ones that you can clip on...But those are not for me. I like the Real thing!

Another Use of the Scarf...

Well, first off...YEAH...Blogger is letting me post pictures again the normal way! Woo Hoo!

Coco has decided that this Scarf of mine is now...H.I.S...and since it has been in my drawer for many months now, unused, I have decided that he enjoys it more then I do. SO~It now doubles as a fashion statement for Coco, as well as a Snuggle while he enjoys his new Flavor of Kongs...Liver Flavor! Doesn't he look comfy... ;) This is how he chews his Kongs...He is a smart little boy, he lays on his back so he can plop the Kong in the air and chew it just right so the Treat falls out! He gets it out in under 10 minutes now.

I got this Bone for Coco a few days ago. From *Target* It seemed sturdy but Coco already tore the threading apart near the middle (you can see it in this picture...) I took this picture in COMPLETE darkness, with nothing on but these branches...But without the flash you couldn't see much. They look best in person, in the dark. But at least you get the idea! I love Them. They are so pretty to look at, at night especially. I put them in this Vase...This is actually 2 sets of Branches put together.

Say Hello to Coco Chanel, "Coco" for short. He is our precious one-year old Maltese/Poodle mix. We adopted him as a little 7 week old puppy. He is a joy to be around! Coco loves his Jerky Treats and Kongs. Coco enjoys spending time going on walks with his Mommy.

Look Bandit and Paisley! Coco got a Bath today too! He doesn't seem to mind his Baths, but he does tend to hide behind the shower door to get away from the water. Then he comes out and just stands there letting me wash him...If he could talk he would say....get this over with mom! He smells very good after.... like a COCO-nut!

It never occured to me until tonight how many Leopard toys, etc that I have gotten for him.

This way when all of his toys are out, it doesn't look too messy since they all blend together! LOL

It's $55 anyways, and no way I am spending that on a little shirt. So I guess there is a reason there is a Skeleton on it, so I don't feel like I am missing out!

The Beach

Hey All~ It's been so hot here lately. 105* and 100% Humidity! Yuck. You'd think that we live in the High desert! If anyone of you were worried about us over here in CA (I know, I know, you all were!) you can relax. The Fires are in the High Desert area, and that is no where near us. Although we do share the same mountain range, it goes on for many, many miles between us and where the fires are happening. There is 70% containment on the fires already, up from 30% at the end of Last week, so it looks like it is under control. I am glad because I fear it could spread over here. But it's nowhere close to us, so I try not to worry!

This is a picture of the Boat dock in Dana Point. The water is so clear. Dana Point is about an hour from us. Its nice to go down there....Its only 80* there! And of course the ocean breeze is nice.

Coco is ready for Halloween! LOL (way too early!) I thought this frame was cute, it's one of the options on Photo editor. This picture was taken a few days ago. It looks like Coco is smiling!

This picture deserved it's own post and description! This is when Coco took his 2 front paws and knocked the Catch Me toy off his bed. His signal that he wanted nothing to do with that toy anymore! Shortly after this picture was taken, he grabbed it right back up again, and chewed it apart. I didn't get any pictures of that one though! Lets just say Coco won the Battle between toy and dog! LOL

I got Coco the cutest blanket yesterday. It's actually for a Human baby, but I liked the plushness of it. It has paw prints on it too, ironically. Coco loves it too! He likes to drag it all around. When I gave it to him yesterday, he thought it was a tug-of-war toy, he grabbed it from my hand and just pulled! I put it in his crate when he is home alone and he grabs a toy and lays on it.

Uh-oh, looks like Coco doesnt like seeing another dog in the house! LOL

I also got him a new toy. It says Catch Me on it, he liked it for the time-being. Then today he decided it would be a fun idea it chew the center off, so now it's in for Repair LOL.

Toe Club: Flowers

This time I tried something new. Never done before! And I am proud to say it doesnt look AWFUL. Not great but at least not awful! This time I put 2 little flowers in the corner of each of my big toes. Same raspberry red color as last week, but this time I spruced it up a bit with the flowers. I'm sticking with this color, it makes my feet look kind of tan! :o) Close up........

This is one of Coco's shirts. His Summer shirt, nice and sleeveless, lets him "air" out. LOL This is the first shirt that I got him. I am actually surprised it still fits him! He was only 7 months old when he first wore it. I took this pic today and his ears look extra tan. Its amazing that in each picture I take, the ear color changes so much!

Coco LOVES his toys. In fact, he has so many I had to give him a few shelves of his own to store them all. Here is Coco searching for the *right* toy to play with this afternoon. I was playing Fetch with him inside, to make up for our usual long walks we go on....Since it is way to hot to go for a nice long walk outside. If anyone would like to trade some of their cold weather with us for a few days, please leave a comment. LOL! What do you all think of his toy chest? Lots and lots of toys.......theres more too, on the floor that he already took out! He goes and picks his toys then brings one to me to throw for him. Too cute.

Looks like he picked the flip flop toy. I say Good choice!
